Two-Hour Working Session
Come with questions. Leave with answers.
Sometimes you don't need a full financial plan. You have a specific question, you want a clear answer, and you'd like to talk it through with someone who can actually help.
This is a two-hour consultation that is a focused, one-on-one working session built around whatever financial question is on your mind. We dig in, work through it together, and you leave with clarity and a concrete sense of what to do next.
There's no ongoing commitment, no sales pitch, and no pressure to become a full planning client.
Who this is for
This is a good fit if you're early in your career and not ready to commit to ongoing financial planning, if you have a specific decision in front of you and want a professional second opinion, or if you just want to make sure you're not missing anything before moving forward on your own.
What we can cover
Almost any financial topic is fair game. Common examples include:
Student loan repayment strategy.
Retirement account options and contribution decisions.
How to evaluate a life insurance or disability insurance proposal.
Investment allocation review.
The tax implications of selling a large appreciated asset.
Retirement income and cash flow planning.
Getting started with investing.
403(b) and 457(b) plan evaluation.
Backdoor Roth IRA basics.
Tax return review.
Education funding plan for my child.
Anything else you'd like to discuss.
What to expect

Fee
$200 per hour. New clients are scheduled for a two-hour session. Total cost: $400. Pay online or bring a check.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to prepare anything before the session? After booking, you will receive a short intake form asking you to describe your question and share any relevant background information. The more context you can provide upfront, the more we can accomplish together during our two hours.
Can I become an ongoing planning client after a working session? Yes. Some clients start with a working session to get a feel for how I work before committing to ongoing planning. If that is something you want to explore after our session, we can talk through what that would look like.
Is the working session available in person or virtually? Both. I meet with most clients virtually, but if you are in the Columbia, SC area you are welcome to meet in person at my office in the BullStreet District.
What if my question turns out to be more complex than expected? We will cover as much ground as possible in two hours. If your situation turns out to be more involved than a single session can address, I will let you know and we can discuss whether ongoing financial planning would be a better fit.
